Product description
Bruto Apricot
Bruto Apricot is a handmade wall tile measuring 3.8 x 23.5 cm and 0.9 cm thick from one of our factories in Spain. This is a tile with a rustic, worked surface and deep colours. The Bruto tiles are wall tiles with craquelé and are suitable for areas such as a kitchen back wall, bathroom, toilet or hall. The tile has its own personality and appearance which makes it unique.
Good to know
Our Spanish ceramic tiles are manually glazed before being fired in a large tile kiln. The production process still takes place authentically. This is often reflected in the finish of the tiles. The top layer is very wear-resistant and can therefore be used for various purposes. These Spanish tiles are only suitable as wall tiles.
When used in wet rooms: Because of the craquelé (hairline cracks in the glaze), you should impregnate the tile once with Tile Sealent before grouting. This will prevent moisture from entering the tile.
Fitting Spanish tiles
Spanish tiles are easy to work with and have their own instruction manual. Upon purchase, you will receive a step-by-step plan with instructions and points of attention. We advise you to read this manual carefully before installing the tiles. Or hire a good tiler who is familiar with these types of tiles.
Some tiles may show craquelé, small cracks in the surface of the glaze. This is often part of the type of tiles. If Spanish tiles with craquelé are installed in a wet room such as a shower, the tiles should be treated with an impregnating agent to prevent moisture from penetrating the cracks.
Suitable for
These authentic tiles can be used as wall tiles and can be used indoors.
They are ideal tiles for a back wall in your kitchen or hallway. Also in catering establishments and shops, these tiles make all the difference in terms of appearance!
Colours, patterns and sizes
Bruto tiles are available in different colours. Each batch has a slight colour difference. The tiles from 1 box also have mutual colour differences and irregularities. This is done on purpose to create a certain atmosphere or has to do with the production process and should be considered normal.
Ordering, delivery and delivery
These tiles are delivered per box. For help with calculating the quantities needed, expert advice or a customised quote, we will be happy to help you in one of our showrooms.
Orders can be delivered to your home via our carrier. The costs for this are calculated based on weight and volume and are included in the quotation, if applicable. There is also the option of collecting the tiles from our warehouse in Breda or from our showroom in Utrecht. Collection is only possible by appointment and if the tiles are in stock.
If you would like to see the tiles in real life and are unable to visit one of our showrooms, order a sample via our website.
Maintenance
Spanish tiles are baked tiles, have a hard top layer and are easy to maintain. Preferably use a non-caustic all-purpose cleaner so the colour layer is not affected.
