    Are you looking for a creative, graphic tile that you can use in all directions? The Platta tiles are handmade Moroccan tiles that fit into any indoor and outdoor space, both on the wall and on the floor. The many possibilities of shapes and colors make this Platta tile unique in its kind. With the Platta tile you choose the shape and color that suits you and the factory tailors it especially for you. What makes the Platta so different from the other Moroccan tiles? In addition to the variety of different shapes and colors, the Platta is actually the perfect combination of the Bejmat and Zellige. Where the Zellige can only be placed on the wall and the Bejmat on the floor only consists of one shape, the Platta has all these options. We are very proud of the Platta because we have developed this tile ourselves and that is why this tile is exclusively available at Designtiles! Together with the factory, we continue to develop new shapes and colors and there will therefore always be new shapes available.

    100% handmade, completely according to your own wishes

    Our Moroccan tiles come from Fez, Morocco. Here they have used a special type of clay that is only found there and is used in our Zellige, Bejmat and Platta tiles. The shaping and coloring of the tiles is done entirely by hand. Baking is still done the old-fashioned way in olive pit ovens. The place where the tile has been in the oven determines the unique color of the glaze. This gives the Moroccan Platta its beautiful color nuance.     The countless shapes and colors of the Platta

    The exceptional shapes of the Platta such as the Art Deco, Cinq, Chevron, Diamond, Facet, Imperial, La Vie, Hexagone and the Soleil can be combined with the most beautiful colors such as blanc, natural, old pink, sea green or sky blue. You can also give your bathroom or terrace the atmosphere you are looking for with standard Platta sizes such as 7.5x15cm, 13x13cm and 10x10cm. Nothing is too crazy for this tile! Because the tile has a thickness of 2 cm, it is suitable for both the floor and the wall. They are also suitable for placing outside on your terrace or in your outdoor kitchen.
