At Designtegels we have a constant supply of tiles from all over the world. Shipments from Spain, Italy, Turkey, Morocco or Vietnam are unloaded daily in our warehouse in The Netherlands. Sometimes the complete containers have been reserved for our customers and the orders can leave the warehouse immediately. Did your order arrived? Then we will contact you as soon as possible to make an appointment for delivery or to pick-up your order.
Despite the fact that the tiles are packed with love and attention, you should be careful with these boxes. The weight and fragility of the tiles means that we only ship using a carrier. We also offer the option to collect your order in Breda or Utrecht (NL). You can read exactly which options we offer and which one applies to your order below.

Having your order delivered

However, this is not like your standard parcel delivery.
Our tiles are delicate and can therefore only be delivered by pallet transport. This means that your order will be delivered by a large truck.
We work together with several transport companies that will deliver your order right to your doorstep. As soon as your order is ready for transport, you will receive an e-mail in which you can make an appointment for delivery. This is a day appointment. The transporter makes a planning the night before delivery and mails a time indication on the morning of delivery. Designtegels has no influence on this timeframe.

Pick-up your order at our warehouse in Breda

Pick-up your order yourself!
Our warehouse in Breda is located behind our large showroom and has the identical opening hours as the showroom. As soon as your order is complete, you will receive an e-mail to schedule an appointment to collect it.
In our warehouse in Breda we have a forklift at our disposal so we can help you to get your pallet in a truck. (Only on weekdays). Orders can stay up to a maximum of 14 days.

Pick-up your order in Utrecht

In our showroom in Utrecht we have a small storage room where we can store small orders for you.
Once a week the orders are collected in Breda and taken to our showroom in Utrecht. Because we only have a small storage space here, this is only possible for orders up to a certain weight and we ask that you come and collect these as quickly as possible.
There is no forklift available, so you have to carry the orders yourself. For this option we ask €10,- for transport to Utrecht. As soon as your order is complete, you will be informed when your order is ready in Utrecht. This may take a little longer as the transport only takes place once a week. Opening hours.

Samples: Send or pick-up

Of all our tiles it is also possible to order a sample. Those samples can either be delivered by DHL (parcel) or picked up in Breda or Utrecht.

We always try to send the package the next day, you will receive a Track and Trace code from DHL. Collection in Breda is always possible from the next working day, if you have chosen to collect your order in Utrecht (free for samples), you will receive a message when they are available. This can take up to a week.

What are the costs for shipping the order?

The cost of transport depends on the volume, weight and location.
Prices for shipping a pallet start at €69. When you place an order on the website, the transport costs are automatically calculated based on the weight of your order. We deliver both in the Netherlands and abroad. Naturally, international delivery will have a different rate.

Would you like to arrange your own transport?

It is possible to arrange your own transport. Discuss the desired pick-up date with our customerservice and we will be happy to help with loading. In Breda we have a forklift and all kinds of transport equipment available to make sure the order is transported in the best possible way.

Important: The order must be fully paid before it is allowed to leave our warehouse.

My tiles have broken during transport, what should I do?

Have your tiles been damaged during transport? Please contact us within 24 hours. If you notice that the tiles are loose on the pallet or that the tape is no longer in tact during delivery, we recommend that you do not accept the order and contact us immediately.

Is the transporter bringing the tiles inside?

The transporter delivers the pallet of tiles with a pallet truck to the door at ground level. It is possible, if the road is completely free, to drive it into a garage, for example. However, the transporter does not help to put the tiles inside and cannot take them upstairs with, for example, a lift.
