Limestone Beige
The Limestone Beige is a handmade brick made of limestone. This natural stone is softer and more porous than marble and comes from the mountains of Morocco. This brick is 20 x 5 and 2 cm thick. The tiles are delivered loose and can be used in any room, both on the wall and on the floor.

Good to know
This limestone has been used for centuries in building houses and castles. However, it is a natural stone and is softer and more porous than the average tile. This can cause wear if the tile is exposed to a lot of water.
You can choose to treat the limestone with impregnating agent, as we do with the cement tile. This ensures that it is sealed against moisture and dirt.

Placing limestone
Limestone (natural stone) tiles require extra attention during installation and have their own instruction manual for this. When purchasing, you will receive a step-by-step plan with instructions and points of attention. We recommend that you read this manual carefully before installing the tiles. Or hire a good tiler who is familiar with this type of tiles.

Suitable for
Limestone tiles can be placed in any room. They are suitable as floor tiles but can also be used on walls, even though they are often thicker than normal. They are ideal tiles for your hall, toilet, bathroom and kitchen but also for business purposes such as in a catering establishment or in a shop. They give a real natural, warm look to a room. Please note that the tiles may need treatment. It depends on the finish you want whether this is necessary or not. Ask our employees for advice!

Ordering, delivery and shipping
These tiles are delivered per box. For help calculating the required quantities, expert advice or a customized quote, we are happy to help you in one of our showrooms.
Orders can be delivered to your home via our carrier. The costs for this are calculated based on weight and volume and are included in the order, if applicable.
There is also the possibility to pick up the tiles at our warehouse in Breda or at our showroom in Utrecht. Pick up is only possible by appointment and if the tiles are in stock.

Maintenance
The limestone tiles are easy to maintain. Mop weekly with an acid-free agent such as our own Mop Soap. This also provides extra protection to the surface.
Be careful with acids, they give ugly stains or discolorations that are difficult to remove later. As soon as there is a spill, clean immediately with water and do not leave anything on the tiles. This also applies to fats and other liquids. The sooner cleaned the better.
For grease stains or paint stains, etc., we have special cleaning agents for sale.
For heavy soiling we recommend using Azule Dirt Remover. This degreaser removes most soiling on various types of tiles.
