At Designtegels.nl there is a constant supply of tiles from all over the world. Shipments from Spain, Italy, Turkey, Morocco or Vietnam are unloaded daily. Sometimes the entire containers are already reserved and the orders can be prepared immediately to leave the warehouse again. Has your order arrived? Then we will of course contact you as soon as possible to schedule an appointment for the delivery or collection of your order.

Despite the fact that the tiles are packed with love and attention, you should be careful with these boxes. The weight and fragility ensure that we only send shipments via a carrier. In addition, we offer the option to collect your order in Breda or Utrecht. Which options we offer exactly and which applies to your order can be read below.

Send or collect samples
It is also possible to order a sample of all our products.
The sample can be delivered via DHL for €8.95 or picked up for free in Breda or Utrecht. We usually ship the next day and you will receive a DHL Track & Trace code. Pick up in Breda is possible from the next working day. Did you choose to pick up in Utrecht? Then you will receive a message as soon as the sample is ready, which can take up to a week.

Have your order delivered
Have your tiles delivered to your home? No problem!
However, this does not happen via a standard parcel delivery as you are used to. Our tiles are fragile and can therefore only be delivered via pallet transport. This means that your order will be delivered with a large truck. We work together with various carriers who deliver your order to the door. As soon as your order is complete, you will receive an email from us in which you can make an appointment for delivery. This is a day appointment. The carrier makes a schedule the night before delivery and emails an indication of the time on the morning of delivery. Designtegels.nl has no influence on this.

Pick up your order in Breda
Of course you can also pick up your order yourself!
Our warehouse in Breda is located directly behind our showroom and is easy to reach. The opening hours of the warehouse are the same as those of the showroom, so you can easily plan your visit. As soon as your order is complete and ready to be picked up, you will receive an email from us. In this email we invite you to schedule an appointment to pick up your order. In Breda we have a forklift with which we can load larger or heavier orders into a van in one go. Please note: this service is only available on weekdays.
We would like to point out that orders can be stored in our warehouse for a maximum of 14 days. If your order remains in storage for longer, we are unfortunately forced to charge storage costs. To prevent this, we advise you to make an appointment in time to collect your order.

Pick up your order in Utrecht
In our showroom in Utrecht we do not have a warehouse, but we do have a small storage space where we can prepare small orders for you.
Once a week, orders are collected in Breda and brought to our showroom in Utrecht. Because we only have a small storage space here, this is only possible for orders up to a certain weight and we also ask you to pick these up as soon as possible. There is no forklift or pump truck available, so you have to lift orders into the car yourself. In addition, we charge €10,- intercity costs for this option for transport to Utrecht. As soon as your order is complete, you will be contacted when you can collect your order. This may take a little longer because the transport only takes place once a week.

What are the costs for shipping the order?
The costs of the transport depend on the volume, weight and location. The prices for sending a pallet start at €72.60. When you place an order on the website, the transport costs are automatically calculated based on the weight of your order. We deliver both in the Netherlands and abroad. Of course, foreign delivery addresses will have a different rate.
Would you like to arrange your own transport?
It is possible to arrange your own transport. Discuss the desired pick-up date with us and we will ensure that the order is ready. We are happy to help with loading and have forklifts and all kinds of transport equipment to send the order as well as possible.
Important : The order must be paid in full before it can leave our warehouse.
My tiles were broken during transport, what should I do?
Do you have damage to your tiles due to transport? Please contact us within 24 hours. If you see during delivery that the tiles are loose on the pallet or the tape is no longer intact, we recommend that you do not accept the order and contact us immediately. In all cases, always take photos of the shipment so that we can see if the packaging is damaged. This way we can better assess whether the damage was caused by the carrier.
Will the carrier help with placing the tiles inside?
The transporter delivers the pallet with tiles with a pump truck to the door on the ground floor. It is possible, if the road is completely clear, to drive it into a garage, for example. However, the transporter does not help to place the tiles inside and cannot take them upstairs with a lift, for example.
