Brick Berkshire
The Brick Berkshire is a handmade natural stone tile of 6 x 20 cm and 1 cm thick. The natural stone Bricks are available in various colours of marble and travertine and can be used both indoors and outdoors, as wall and floor tiles. The tiles have a tumbled finish, which means that the edges are not tight and straight and that the finish can vary per tile. The Bricks are perfect for herringbone or other playful patterns.
Good to know
The natuursteen Bricks are beautiful tiles that are produced in a traditional way. Because natural stone has many color nuances, the tiles are mixed as much as possible to give an appearance that is as even as possible. Color differences are inherent to this product and should be considered normal. Therefore, always make sure that you order enough so that you never run out and have to order more. The tile is therefore not baked as it is a natural product. A characteristic of marble and natural stone is that it is more sensitive to stains and sometimes has to be impregnated in certain areas.
Placing Natural Stone Bricks
The Bricks require extra attention during installation and have their own instruction manual for this. Upon purchase, you will receive a step-by-step plan with instructions and points of attention. We recommend that you read this manual carefully before installing the tiles. Or hire a good tiler who is familiar with this type of tiles.
Suitable for
The natural stone Bricks are suitable as floor tiles but can also be used on walls, even though they are often somewhat thicker than normal. They are ideal tiles for your hall, toilet, bathroom and kitchen but also for business purposes such as in a catering establishment or in a shop. They often give a chic appearance to a room! Please note that the tiles may require treatment. This varies per room. If you want to place the tiles outside, keep in mind that op the sun and rain can affect the appearance of the marble in the long term and can discolour the tiles or damage the surface.

Maintenance
Bricks are easy to maintain. Mop weekly with an acid-free agent such as our own Mop Soap. This also provides extra protection to the surface.
Be careful with acids, they give ugly stains or discolorations that are difficult to remove later. As soon as there is a spill, clean immediately with water and do not leave anything on the tiles. This also applies to fats and other liquids. The sooner cleaned the better.
For grease stains or paint stains, etc., we have special cleaning agents for sale.
For heavy soiling we recommend using Azule Dirt Remover. This degreaser removes most soiling on various types of tiles.
