Bejmat Green Mousse
The Bejmat Vert Mousse is a handmade wall and floor tile of 4.5x14 cm and 2 cm thick. This smooth tile has a particularly lively surface and beautiful colour nuances. Bejmat tiles can be placed on both floors and walls and are ideally suited for the kitchen, toilet, hall or bathroom. In addition, you can use them in many different laying patterns, such as herringbone or half-brick.
Good to know
Bejmats (pronounced 'besjmats') are handmade tiles from Morocco. They are formed from clay in a special way, dried in the sun and baked in an authentic olive pit oven. This labor-intensive work gives the tile its own character. This clay contains lime pits that can often be found on the surface of the tile or in the glaze. This is characteristic of handmade Moroccan tiles and should be considered normal. Bejmats can be used as both floor and wall tiles. If you prefer to place a thinner tile on your wall, take a look at our Zelliges.
Places of Bejmats
Moroccan tiles require extra attention during installation and have their own instruction manual for this. When you purchase them, you will receive a step-by-step plan with instructions and points of attention. We recommend that you read this manual carefully before installing the tiles. Or hire a good tiler who is familiar with this type of tiles.
Suitable for
Bejmats can be used both indoors and outdoors. For outdoors: under a canopy, protected from water and sun. A heavy frost can crack the glaze.
They are suitable as wall tiles and as floor tiles. The surface is irregular so this can result in edges. They are ideal tiles for your hall, toilet, bathroom and kitchen. Bejmats are also very suitable for catering establishments.
Colors and sizes
Bejmat tiles are supplied in many different colours. Each batch has a small colour difference. The tiles from 1 box also have colour differences and irregularities, this has to do with the production process and should be considered normal. Bejmat tiles are hand-cut into different sizes and shapes.

Orders can be delivered to your home via our carrier. The costs of this are calculated based on the weight and volume and are included in the quote, if applicable. It is also possible to collect the tiles from our warehouse in Breda or from our showroom in Utrecht. Collection is only possible by appointment and if the tiles are in stock. Do you want to see the tile in real life and are you unable to view them in one of our showrooms? Then order a sample via our website.
Maintenance
Moroccan tiles are baked tiles, have a hard top layer and are easy to maintain. Preferably use a non-corrosive all-purpose cleaner so that the color layer is not affected.
