Azule Color Enhancer
Azule Colour Enhancer is an impregnating agent for cement tiles based on resins. It is a colourless impregnating agent that gives a semi-gloss effect and is intended for wet areas. Colour Enhancer enhances the colour and structure of cement tiles and makes them water, oil and dirt repellent.
Good to know
Color enhancer is used in wet areas such as bathrooms, toilets and outdoor areas. You use it as a second impregnation agent, after Azule Vlekstop and therefore after grouting the tiles.
Always close the cap of the packaging in time. This product contains solvents. If the product is left open for too long without the cap, this will adversely affect the functioning of the product! After opening, it can be stored for 1 year in a cool, dry place.
How do you use Color Enhancer?
Make sure the tiles are clean and dry and that they have been treated at least once with Azule Stain Stop. Colour Enhancer is a resin and dries quickly. Therefore, do not take more than 12 tiles at a time and spread a thin layer of Colour Enhancer evenly with the impregnation pad or paint roller. Rub anything that is left with a lint-free cloth. Repeat this process once more to ensure that the tiles are properly sealed. Let the tiles dry for 24 hours before walking on them.
Matte or gloss?
Colour Enhancer has a semi-gloss effect on cement tiles. Would you rather retain the natural matte effect? Then rub the Colour Enhancer out immediately after application as described in the previous step. Do you want to create a gloss effect on the tiles? Then just roll the tiles with Colour Enhancer and let this layer harden. The disadvantage of this is that at some point you will start to see a walking path on the tiles. This will be visible where the tiles are walked on the most. Old impregnation layers can be removed with Azule Losefix.
Stains or a sticky floor?
Do you have stains or a sticky floor? Then the Color Deepener has not been scrubbed quickly enough or not evenly enough. The resin has dried too quickly and this results in a sticky layer on the tiles. Don't worry! Take some Azule Stain Stop (the basic impregnating agent that contains a lot of solvent) and roll it onto the sticky tiles. Let this soak into the tile for a maximum of 20 seconds. Then scrub it immediately with a lint-free cloth. The resin has become liquid again due to the Stain Stop and by removing it quickly you remove all the excess from the tiles. The wall or floor is ready for use after sufficient drying time! If in doubt, consult our helpdesk!
Suitable for
Only tiles that are porous such as cement tiles or other natural stones such as marble need to be impregnated. Depending on the colour and space of the tile in which they are placed, we advise using this agent.
Glazed tiles (with the exception of crackle tiles) do not need to be impregnated. You can find the complete treatment schedule for cement tiles on our website.
