Terrazzo Al Fior Di Late
Terrazzo Al Fior Di Late is 41x41cm and 1.8 cm thick and can be ordered from 2m2. This tile is suitable for walls and floors. Terrazzo is made from marble grains or stones in different colours that are pressed into coloured cement or clay. After drying, the tile is polished and impregnated against stains or other dirt. Due to the polished finish, the tile is not porous and not as stain-sensitive as other natural stones. However, it remains natural stone and that is why we recommend only cleaning the tile with non-corrosive agents. The terrazzo tiles from Designtegels are available in different colours. The finish is always the same and the longer the tile is, the deeper and more beautiful it becomes!
Good to know
Terrazzo, also called Granito tiles, are tiles that are produced per batch. Because the tile is a combination of different marble grains and small stones, it is possible that different batches do not match each other. Also, (missing) marble grains can cause small holes or irregularities on and in the surface, this is inherent to the product and the manufacturing process of this tile. This is The color of the tile or the size of the grains or stones may differ slightly. This is part of the process of making this tile, and we cannot predict this in advance. The sample or tile that you see in the showroom is therefore also an indication of what you can expect.
Installing Terrazzo tiles
Terrazzo tiles are thicker and heavier than standard tiles. Therefore, consult your tiler in advance to see if he knows how to best install this product. We recommend installing Terrazzo with acid-free glue and grout. Read all about installing and treating our Terrazzo tiles here .

Orders can be delivered to your home via our carrier. The costs of this are calculated based on the weight and volume. It is also possible to pick up the tiles at our warehouse in Breda or at our showroom in Utrecht. Pick up is only possible by appointment and if the tiles are in stock. Maintenance
Terrazzo tiles are easy to maintain. Mop weekly with an acid-free agent such as green soap or with our own Mop Soap. This also provides extra protection to the surface.
