Azule's impregnation products have been specially developed for impregnating cement tiles and other natural stones such as marble.

Impregnating cement tiles and other natural stone products

Because cement tiles are made from marble powder, they require different maintenance than ceramic tiles, for example. During and after the installation process, the tiles must be treated with impregnating agents.

The right products must also be used for daily maintenance to prevent and/or remove stains and dirt. For the best possible result, we recommend our own Azule maintenance, cleaning and impregnating agents. These are, of course, of the highest quality. Regular use of our cleaning and maintenance products ensures optimal results and safely extends the lifespan of your tiles. In our showroom, we are happy to explain how best to protect your tiles so that you can enjoy them for years to come. Cleaning handmade tiles

We offer cleaning products for cement tiles, Zelliges, marble, and other tiles. Our cleaning products are sustainable and have been specially developed and tested for handmade tiles. Some products have been developed and refined by us, so you can be assured of the highest quality.

Maintaining designer tiles

Cement tiles and marble are natural stone tiles and should be maintained with an acid-free product. We sell an acid-free floor soap that is ideal for Portuguese tiles and offers excellent protection for daily use. Portuguese cement tiles should be mopped at least every two weeks with mop soap, green soap or another mild soap without aggressive or corrosive ingredients. We also have sustainable tile soap that you can use to clean all other tiles. [You can find the different products here]

Prevent stains on your tiles!

Acidic substances are not good for Portuguese tiles. Be careful with products such as chlorine, vinegar, all-purpose cleaners and other highly acidic substances. As soon as these come into contact with cement tiles, they can damage the surface and leave ugly stains. Also be careful with fruit juice, wine or very fatty products such as oil, butter or mayonnaise. Fatty products leave behind grease stains that are difficult to remove. If the floor is properly impregnated and maintained weekly with floor soap, a protective layer will form on the tiles, virtually eliminating the risk of external influences. If the floor becomes dirty, it is wise to remove the dirt immediately so that it cannot (or minimally) soak in. Do you have questions about impregnating or treating cement or other tiles?
