Who is Tanja?
Tanja is a well-known DIY stylist who you may have seen on TV or in a magazine. For example at Eigen huis & Tuin, Karwei and VT Wonen. And also with Designtegels.
Tanja is a very creative person with a great passion for interior and DIYs. She brings these two together on her blog. She shows you that it doesn't have to be difficult to give your own interior a makeover. If you want to get inspired to get started yourself, Tanja's blog is a real source of inspiration!
On Tanja's blog you can see that she tackles every corner of her house herself. She also got to work in her kitchen. To give her kitchen a unique and characteristic look, she chose to stick our Zelliges to the back wall. A fun project to think about and carry out!
Choice stress, so many tiles to choose from!
A nice idea to tile the back wall of your kitchen. But where do you start when choosing a tile? With a good orientation you can come a long way. Tanja visited our showroom for this. By viewing our tiles in real life you can make your choice easier.
Our large selection secretly caused Tanja a bit of stress about choosing. Are you going for a colored tile? What shape are you going for? Are you going to place the tiles in a pattern? And what kind of pattern do you choose? We are happy to help you make a choice in one of our showrooms. We can also tell you more about the tile itself, what its special features are and how you can best place it.
After visiting our showroom, Tanja was able to make a choice. She chose the Zellige Blanc Poisson Echelles. This is a special shape, a fish scale. These handmade tiles are made in an authentic way. Each tile is slightly different. This ensures a unique and characteristic look of both the tile and your interior.

Tiling, you do it yourself!
You can easily stick our Zelliges yourself. Because these tiles are all slightly different, the tiling does not have to be completely straight. This ensures that you get a beautiful end result even without experience.
Tanja gives you some tips about sticking:
1. By applying primer to the wall, you can be sure that the tiles will stick to the wall.
2. The Zelliges are handmade. This can cause colour differences. Therefore, make sure that you mix the colour nuances with each other before sticking to get a nice colour blend.
After placing the tiles, Tanja's kitchen has a whole new look. A good basis for a super nice kitchen! The Zelliges together with the styling of her kitchen form a beautiful whole with a lot of atmosphere.
