Welcome to the home of Marjolein Bouhuijzen . August 2021 we met Marjolein, the plans for her brand new home (was being built at the time) were grand! Her vision and dreams completely merged, and she made both come true.
Which tile will it be?
After a tour of our showroom in Breda, a stack of samples to take home, mood boards in the store and another look in our showroom in Utrecht, she was convinced. The bathrooms in the house are especially grand. With high ceilings of up to 5 meters! it was a unique opportunity to show off the Moroccan tiles . The entire wall was covered, and it has become a real eye-catcher!Pink with gold
In the children's bathroom, Marjolein chose the Platta Gris Rose Soleil. This Moroccan tile in the shape Soleil is special because of its unique shape. At the time Marjolein saw this shape, we didn't even have it in our collection, but she had to have it in this color! Due to the great response, we now have this tile in our standard range. In Marjolein's bathroom she had chosen a Zellige . This tile is thinner, and therefore only to be used on the wall. This tile is also fresh from the press, the shape we call d'Art . Because it is a work of art in itself! The tiles are delivered on mats and are therefore easy to place, which is handy if you have to go up so high! The bathrooms have both become real showstoppers! The combination of the soft tile colours with the dark furniture and the golden taps is exactly how Marjolein envisioned it, and completely on trend!
