Spanish tiles for your wall
Are you looking for unique Spanish wall tiles? We have one of the largest selections in the Netherlands. We continue to add to this collection with the latest trends so that your interior is completely up to date. Or would you prefer a timeless wall tile for your toilet or kitchen? There is plenty of choice: rectangular, metro or hexagonal shapes in every colour you can imagine! All our Spanish tiles come from Spain, of course, where they are produced in various factories. Partly by hand and partly by machine. Spanish wall tiles are known for their hand-formed shape, which means that the tiles are not sleek and completely straight, but have playful edges and glaze that is sometimes crackled and sometimes unfinished.
Hand-formed, smooth or textured. Anything is possible with Spanish wall tiles
Spanish tiles are ceramic tiles that can have different finishes. Glazed and therefore shiny in high gloss or satin gloss, 3D with a relief on the tile for a 3D effect, smooth and without shine for a matte effect, or a combination of these options. The way in which some Spanish tiles are glazed can cause hairline cracks, also known as craquelure. This is characteristic of this type of tile and may even only occur when you lay the tiles. Some wall tiles can also be used on the floor. This depends on the thickness of the tile and the type of glaze used. These tiles can be found among Spanish floor tiles. Unfortunately, Spanish tiles are not frost-resistant and therefore cannot be used outdoors.
Spanish shapes and colours
When you think of Spanish wall tiles, you think of Azulejos. These tiles can be seen everywhere in Spain, with their hand-crafted shape and beautiful colours. Azulejos actually means “tile”. But besides these tiles, we have many other beautiful options for your walls. You can find the same beautiful colours in other formats. We also have Cabrera, Manual and Ibiza. All in the same colours but in different formats, each with its own unique possibilities. Think herringbone, brick, straight up or horizontal. Anything is possible! Some colours come with a crackle finish, others have a matte finish and earthy and terracotta colours. In addition to handmade tiles, we also have sleek graphic shapes. The Canto, for example, is unique in its shape. At Designtegels, one thing is certain: there is something for every style. Whether you like rustic, sleek, modern or bohemian. We have a tile for every interior! Our Azulejos tiles have the classic 10 x 10 cm format. Not quite what you're looking for? Then you might like the Cabrera, with its dimensions of 7.5 x 30 cm. There are also many other formats to suit your interior perfectly. With up to 100 different colours in our showrooms, there is plenty of choice. These Spanish tiles also come in different finishes, such as matt, faceted, glossy or crackled.

Here, we display all Spanish tiles so that you can get an overview of all the possibilities. We also have style rooms with both wall and floor tiles where you can see the tiles in a room and get lots of inspiration for your home. Would you like to view a Spanish tile at home?
