The marble used by Designtegels comes from Turkey, where large slabs are transformed into beautiful kitchen worktops and other products. The residual pieces from these products are used to make Designtegels' Bricks and Mosaic. The Bricks are cut to size and tumbled (shaken together) to give them a lived-in look. The marble Bricks have a different strength than the Travertine colours, which are slightly more porous. You can feel this, for example, in the weight of the tile and the finish. Travertine has more holes and is less smooth than marble. Which colour and finish best suits your interior?

The Bricks are suitable for almost all indoor and outdoor spaces. These Bricks resemble bricks or clay tiles in shape and size and lend themselves to various creative laying patterns. Please note that this is a natural product and must therefore be installed and maintained with acid-free products. Acids, bleach and other corrosive agents will cause the tile to lose its beautiful appearance.
