Hand Pitaja
The Mano Pitaja is a handmade ceramic wall tile of 13 x 13 cm and 0.9 cm thick from one of our factories in Spain. The Mano is available in both matt and glossy finishes in various trendy colours.
Good to know
Our Spanish ceramic tiles are glazed by hand before being baked in a large tile oven. The production process still takes place in an authentic way. This is often reflected in the finish of the tiles. The top layer is very wear-resistant and can therefore be used for various purposes. These Spanish tiles are only suitable as wall tiles.
These square tiles have a size of 13 centimeters and they are available in many different colors. Are you looking for calm colors? Then look at the Acero, Bblanco or Botella. Or do you go for a trendy color such as Amber, Moss or Navy? The tiles are available in both matt and high-gloss finish.
Installing Spanish tiles
Spanish tiles are easy to work with and have their own instruction manual for installing them. When you purchase them, you will receive a step-by-step plan with instructions and points of attention. We recommend that you read this manual carefully before installing the tiles. Or hire a good tiler who is familiar with this type of tiles.
Suitable for
These authentic tiles can be used as wall tiles and can be used both indoors and outdoors. For outdoors: on a paved surface such as a stone wall, under a canopy, protected from rainwater and sun. A heavy frost can cause cracks.
They are ideal tiles for wet areas such as a shower, toilet or bathroom, but they also look great in a kitchen or hallway. These tiles also make a difference in terms of appearance in catering establishments and shops!
Colors, patterns and sizes
Spanish tiles are supplied in many colours, shapes and sizes. Each batch has a small colour difference. The tiles from 1 box often have colour differences and irregularities. This is sometimes done on purpose to create a certain atmosphere or has to do with the production process and should be considered normal. In addition to the standard rectangular and square shapes, other shapes are also very popular these days, such as hexagons (hexagones), triangles, fish scales (escamas) and laternas.
Ordering, delivery and shipping
These tiles are delivered per box. For help calculating the required quantities, expert advice or a customized quote, we are happy to help you in one of our showrooms.
Orders can be delivered to your home via our carrier. They are firmly placed on a pallet and there is as little chance of breakage as possible. The costs of this are calculated based on weight and volume and are included in the quote, if applicable.
There is also the possibility to pick up the tiles at our warehouse in Breda or at our showroom in Utrecht. Pick up is only possible by appointment and if the tiles are in stock.
If you would like to see the tile in real life and are unable to view it in one of our showrooms, order a sample via our website.
Maintenance
Spanish tiles have a hard top layer and are easy to maintain. Weekly mopping or wiping with an all-purpose cleaner is recommended. Preferably use an acid-free product that is not too greasy.
For heavy soiling, we recommend using Azule Dirt Remover. This powerful degreaser removes most soiling on various types of tiles. This powerful degreaser removes most soiling on various types of tiles.
