Azule Tile Oil 0.5 ltr
Azule Tile Oil is an impregnating agent for cement tiles. Tile Oil is composed of solvents and protective oils and specially developed against (grease) stains.
Tile Oil deepens the color of cement tiles and protects the surface for external influences and makes it less susceptible to (grease) stains.
Tile oil is used as a protective layer in the kitchen and also possibly in the hallway and living room. You use it as a second impregnation product, after Azule Tile Sealant and after grouting the tiles. Never use it in wet areas!
Good to know
Tile oil can cause (slight) discoloration. Do you have cement tiles with a lot of white in the pattern? And do you not like it when they turn slightly yellow/beige because of the oil? Then you can also choose to use Azule tile sealant for the second impregnation layer. In a kitchen we always recommend using tile oil because of the very good properties of this product against (grease) stains.
Always close the cap of the packaging in time. This is because this product contains solvents. If the product is left uncapped for too long, this will adversely affect the product's performance!
After opening, store in a cool and dry place for up to 1 year.
How do I use Tile Oil?
Make sure the tiles are clean and dry before you start impregnating them. Spread the tile oil evenly over the tiles with an impregnation pad or roller. Do this in steps (of 12 tiles or as many as you can handle to be able to rub out in the next step). Let the oil soak in for 15 minutes and rub with a lint-free cotton cloth. Repeat this process again so that the tiles are completely saturated. Allow the tiles to dry for at least 24 hours before using them.
Suitable for
Only tiles that are porous, like cement tiles or other natural stones like marble, need to be impregnated. Depending on the color and area of the tile in which they are placed, we recommend using this agent.
Glazed tiles (with the exception of craquelé tiles) do not need to be impregnated. You can find the complete treatment schedule for cement tiles on our website.
